Traditional Weapon

1.Kujang 

Kujang  is the traditional weapon of West Java that is unique from other Indonesian traditional weapon, by having a length of about 20 to 25 cm. Kujang made from steel, iron and white steel.

Kujang Become emblem of harpness and critical power in a life and Kujang become emblem of strength and courage in protecting the rights and truth.Kujang is characteristic of West Java People than as weapons, agricultural tools, symbolism, ornaments, and even souvenirs.

The Fungtion of Kujang:

1. Kujang to inheritance that symbolizes the greatness and majesty of a king or an official.
2. Kujang for weapons to fight.
3. Kujang tool for the ceremony.
4. Kujang used for agricultural tools such as crop and cut down the plants.

2.Baliung

Baliung  is the sharp weapon used to fell large trees making it one of the tooling equipment to build a house. But in other areas known as the axe or a slave.

The handle is made of wood, which measure about 30 to 35 cm.Energy and power to press Baliung must be greater than the bedog, and because it is made of steel that is bigger and thicker at the base.

3.Bedog 

Bedog is the traditional weapon of West Java in the form of a large knife or "Golok" commonly called that serves as garden tools, cut  wood, cut down trees, slaughtering animals and cut the flesh of animals.

The type and Function Bedog :

1.   Bedog Gagaplok  , for cutting and mowing in the garden.
2.  Bedok pemeuncitan , for the slaughter of animals.
3. Bedog Pamoroan, to hunt
4. Bedog Jonggol / Hambalan, for peeling coconuts.
5. Bedog Sotogayot, to cut bamboo and other bamboo material.
